Alasdair MacIntyre - Catholic instead of what?

Conferência Prof. Alasdair MacIntyre - Catholic instead of what?

Alasdair MacIntyre is an extremely influential Catholic philosopher who has made major contributions to moral philosophy. He is Emeritus Professor of Philosophy at Notre Dame and Duke University, and has also taught at Oxford, Yale, and Princeton.

His most influential book, "After Virtue," was recognized as a significant critique of contemporary moral philosophy. Newsweek called it "a stunning new study of ethics by one of the foremost moral philosophers in the English-speaking world."

MacIntyre converted to Roman Catholicism in the early 1980s. In an interview with Prospect Magazine, MacIntyre explains that his conversion to Catholicism occurred in his fifties as a "result of being convinced of Thomism while attempting to disabuse his students of its authenticity."

Comunitarismo contra Individualismo: Una Revisión de los Valores de Occidente desde el pensamiento de Alasdair Macintyre - David Lorenzo Izquierdo

Idioma: espanhol.

ISBN:9788483553848. "
